Next Up: Local, Sustainable Deli in Ravenswood

Gaper’s Block recently ran an interview from Cleetus Friedman, owner/chef of City Provisions, a Chicago catering company and monthly supper club focused on local foods.
Cleetus plans to open a new deli this year in the Ravenswood neighborhood that features local, sustainable meats (steaks, beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sliced deli meat), cheeses, and fresh locally baked goods from Nicole’s Divine Bake Shop and Bleeding Heart Bakery. There will also be made-from-scratch, organic canned goods (apple sauce, Bloody Mary mix, salsa) from City Provisions, beer, wine and distilleries from local companies, organic ice cream and all-natural sodas.
